? outlap is an outlap not a fast lap ?

We have this rule, Wes.
It's in the rule book, you should know - because you should've read it, right?

Also, even being an outlap, with only 10 mins of quali, some drivers are gaining time by cutting on the outlap, while everyone else is taking the normal lap - that's gaining time unfairly.

Also, if we allow cuts in the outlap, there may be a few tracks where a driver could actually gain time on their HOTlaps by cutting the last corner or going wide before opening the hotlap and etc..

So, to avoid any of that, we just have a very simple rule: cutting on the outlap is NOT allowed, no matter what.
