Pit Stops

Hi there guys just a quick question for you, how do the pit stops work in rfactor I have driven on this game for around 4 years now and I still do not understand them fully. I understand how to refuel in a sprint race and so on but can I change from soft to super soft tyres during a stop ? if so how ?

easy m8 when on track press s , this will give you a pit menu ,then wear tyres are click left or right to choose compound when done press enter then all done !
