- FOR NEW DRIVERS RACING FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE LEAGUE (VERY IMPORTANT):
This rule applies only to new drivers (to the league) joining mid-season (after the season had already begun).
All new driver(s) to the league MUST USE THE RESERVE CAR - all the cars have the exact same physics/performance.
Any new driver(s) to the league MUST START FROM THE BACK OF THE GRID in their very first race in the league.
They also MUST WAIT 5 (five) SECONDS AFTER THE LIGHTS GO OFF/GREEN before starting to accelerate.
The Admins will check the race replay after the race to see if all was done properly.
If everything was ok (and the new driver(s) had a clean race, respecting the rules, the other drivers and didn't cause any incidents) they will be allowed to start all the future races normally.
If the new driver(s) fail to respect this rule and/or caused incidents, they will have a second (and final) chance to get it right on their next GP - and if they fail again, they will not be allowed to race in the season and will be removed from it (or even banned from the league, depending on the severity of each case).
The new driver(s) will, however, be ALLOWED to take part in the Qualifying session normally, but they MUST SET A TIME INSIDE THE 107% LIMIT to be allowed to race.
If at the end of Quali their best lap time is above the 107% limit (from the pole time), they will NOT be allowed to race (they can stay in the server and watch the race, keeping their cars inside the garage, or they can simply leave the server - but they can NOT go to track, at ANY moment during the race and under ANY circumstances).
If their lap time is inside the 107% limit, they're allowed to race.
IMPORTANT:
New drivers (to the league) taking part in the Pre-Season Test Races do NOT need to go through this rule - and if they race clean (don't cause incidents and respect all the rules), they will also NOT need to go through this rule when the actual season begins.
