Here are the specific rules for Season 9 of the rFR Grand Prix Cup. The very detailed rFR rulebook with league acrossing rules and regulations will be released soon.

- Rules:
4 golden rules:
1. NO CHATTING (in qualifying or race).
2. NO CUTTING (ever).
3. NO CRASHING (ever).
4. MOVE FOR BLUE FLAGS (always).
Driving on the server is accepting these rules.
The LAT are the League Admin Team, and they run the league (like the FIA).
Drivers must be registered on the official forum to be allowed to race.
Technical settings/rules:
Drivers must save their qualifying and race replays (for LAT if required).
Drivers must set the following line in their PLR file as shown here: Save All Replay Sessions="1"
Drivers must use at least one virtual mirror in official race sessions.
Drivers should lower graphics levels to help reduce lag, but use at least low special FX settings in order to make the RFE plug in work correctly.
Points are awarded in qualifying for pole position and for p2.
Points are awarded in the race for top 15 positions and for fastest lap.
Driving rules:
1.1 Use track at all times. White lines are track but kerbs are not.
1.2 Must have 2 wheels on track at all times. The 2 wheels must be on the same side of the car (differing axels).
1.3 If you leave track, rejoin safely, and without advantage.
1.4 Leaving track and gaining advantage = cutting.
1.5 If you leave track because of accident - slow down and gain no advantage - rejoin safe and give back any gained places.
1.6 Make only 1 move to defend position. You can move back to racing line, but you must leave 1 car width.
1.7 Do not move directly in front of car after overtake.
1.8 Do not force other drivers off the track.
1.9 If you see blue flags, move over and let faster pass as soon as possible.
2.1 Overtaking should be without any contact.
2.2 Do not cause collision or force driver to avoid when overtaking him.
2.3 If you are being overtaken do not drive into the overtaking car.
3.1 Do not follow other cars into pit lane entrance, unless you also intend to pit.
3.5 Do not leave pit box into path of another car.
3.6 Do not cross white pit exit line or endanger cars already on circuit.
4.1 Do not drive in the wrong direction.
4.2 Escape from the circuit as soon as possible if you cannot continue.
4.3 Do not drive slowly in a dangerous manner.
Race event:
RFR uses the RFE weather plug in to create random weather scenarios for each event.
Weather forecasts can be found in the “Event weather forecast and compounds details” thread in the rFR Grand Prix Series section.
Practice starts at ~14:30 UK time on Sunday.
Qualifying starts at ~15:00 UK time on Sunday.

- 9 lap limit
- 10 minutes
- Open session
Warm up lasts 5 minutes. If you disconnect, race will not be delayed.
Race:
Race 1 - Sprint Race
distance = 20% of real life Grand Prix
grid is result of Qualifying reversed (all cars within 107% of pole).
no pit stop required.
5 minute (warmup) Break
Race 2 - Feature Race
distance = 40% of real life Grand Prix
grid is result of Qualifying.
Mandatory pit stop.
General rules:
Each event will have a nominated compound pair from the following:
-Super soft / Soft
-Super soft / Medium
- Soft / Medium
- Soft / Hard
- Medium / Hard
Drivers must use both compounds from the pair in the Feature Race.
Tyre choice is free in Sprint Race.
Tyre nominations can be found in the “Event weather forecast and compounds details” thread in the rFR Grand Prix Series section.
- No mandatory pitstop in the Sprint Race.
- No refueling allowed in both races.
- Some parts of the setups will be locked.
-NO CHATTING.
-NO RESTARTS.
-Drivers must use at least 1 virtual mirror.
Pointsystem:
There will be a Top 15 points system with 1/2 points for the sprint race.
Qualifying: Pole: 2 - Second: 1
Sprint Race: 12.5 - 10 - 8 - 6.5 - 5.5 - 5 - 4.5 -4 - 3.5 - 3 - 2.5 - 2 - 1.5 - 1 - 0.5; Fastest race lap: 0.5 points.
Feature Race: 25 - 20 - 16 - 13 - 11 - 10 - 9 - 8 - 7 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1; Fastest race lap: 1 point.
Prizes:
The winner of the Drivers' Championship will receive a 25€ voucher for Amazon. The winners of the Constructors Championship will each get a 5€ Amazon voucher.
Every driver will gather credit over the season. For every Feature Race win there will be a 1€ credit and for every Sprint Race win 0,50€. All credits will be summed up together and will also be payed as an Amazon voucher.

Incidents in race will be punished after the race by the stewards.
Punishment will be in form of time penalty only. No grid drops will be applied.
