Lap 18 Arek punt me off at Spoon curve

Apologies to Arek, but I honestly lost control of my car (the rear) and while trying to 'fix' it I lost speed and he put his car alongside and as soon as I saw him there, I tried to pull my car away to avoid a contact or throw him off track, but he had already stepped on the grass, which made him spin..

I don't mind getting a penalty for this (although I don't agree with that), but I just want to make it clear that it was NOT on purpose or any unfair/dirty move by me - I was actually trying to avoid an incident after losing control of my car and realizing Arek was alongside..

We fought for so many laps and corners the whole race (watch the whole replay) and I was ALWAYS a 100% clean and fair on defending my place (including on that same corner and the chicane ahead), so it was really and honestly an unfortunate incident - and I apologize for it anyway, not because I think it was my fault, but just because Arek's race was prejudiced and our fight was actually pretty good the whole race and it's a shame it ended up like that..

Anyway.. as I said on our whatsapp group, maybe a penalty for me would be terrible for me, but good for the Championship (and I don't want to be declared the Champion by 'luck'), so.. whatever..

Lap1 last chicane someone hit me from behind really hard( not sure who it was). And lap4 i think last chicane aswell i was chasing sexy and i was very close to him, he braked earlier than me and i avoided him by going of track then that bitch of a game gave me a stop and go penalty cuz i overtook sexy, but i let him through, i was doing ok that time of the race, same shit happened in silverstone aswell but it was just a drive through, so can we for once turn off the penalty system just for once if it is possible?

We can't change those settings in the game Sajdi.

And you got the penalty because you came back to track too fast - NOT because you overtook me.

The game applies automatic penalties for cutting if we cut without slowing down (most of the time we need to slow down a LOT to avoid that automatic penalty) and you just didn't slow down enough, so that's why the game gave you that penalty..

I thank you for giving the place back - and I didn't brake early. I braked exactly where I braked the whole race - you were on my slipstream and trying to overtake, so you came to that braking spot a little faster than you should (just a normal race thing)..

But it's important to know how the game works and why it applies those automatic penalties, so you can try to avoid them in the future - remember, if you cut by accident, just slow down as much as you can and come back to track slowly. Otherwise, the game WILL give you a penalty, regardless if you overtook people or not while cutting..
