People who took part in our last season(s) ('Old Drivers') have preference.

New drivers to the league (drivers with 0 (zero) GPs entered) can get a Permanent Seat if there are still Permanent Seats avaliable after the Old Drivers made their Registration.

New drivers to the league can still race as Reserve Drivers (within those 24 total seats) until a Regular Driver seat is avaliable.

I dont know where exactly to put this so im putting it here. It might just be me, but i noticed that between the soft and hard tires there is pretty much no difference at all. I did my PB on hard on my first try, then i switched to the soft tires and i was slower all the time. I had the same amount of fuel. I dont know if someone else can confirm this, but so far this is my most important feedback for the mod

Yep, this topic is not for us to discuss that.

But just to inform everyone: There IS a difference between the compounds in terms of performance (obviously) and the Softs are faster (and the Hards are slower), BUT.. the gap is of only 0.2 to 0.3 secs (per lap) - test everything properly and in different tracks, so you can spot that more easily.

The gap has to be that small, because there is ALSO the fuel load to consider in the strategy.
So, drivers on Hards will (theorically) carry more fuel (because Hards last longer and also meaning they will be heavier and slower), while drivers on Softs will (theorically) carry less fuel (because Softs last less and also meaning they will be lighter and faster) - in the end, the performance gap between a guy on Hards and a guy on Softs should be of about 0.5 to 0.6 secs (per lap), which is exactly what we need to have both basic strategies (H + H or S + S +S) with similar chances of success.

Obviously, it is to expect that a few more strategy variations appear from each driver and/or that for each track, some specific strategy will work better than the other one(s), so we should have a nice variation of strategies from driver to driver and from track to track - meaning our races will be a bit more interesting and also the drivers must test everything even more and better than they used to.

And remember, kids: you should NEVER do only hotlaps on the server. That's NOT how you prepare well for a race and also obviously NOT how you test a whole mod properly - there's a LOT to be considered, than just doing hotlaps with low fuel - not saying it was Logan's case. But this is a general tip for everyone.

After the first test race on sunday, I'll create a topic so everyone can share some feedback - or we can do that in the server, after the event and/or in our WhatsApp group, as well.
