REMINDER of rules!
From the rule book:
Drivers must have at least two wheels on the track (including white lines at all times).
Drivers going outside the track limits in qualifying will be considered to have cut and will be punished.
Q1 will be reviewed after the race. Any driver cutting will receive a time penalty on to their race.
Q2 will be reviewed live (as it is single lap). A cut here will lead to your lap time being cancelled for that session.
This also includes cutting the last two corners of an outlap to gain a speed advantage onto the pit straight.
The race will also be reviewed to make sure all drivers are driving fairly.
This is not a new rule, but it is more relevant at this track, where much time can be gained by small rule breaches.

It is very easy to cut at Hockenheim, and to gain advantage by leaving the track. Like at all other races drivers are not allowed to leave the track limits to gain an advantage.Drivers must use the track at all times. For the avoidance of doubt the white lines defining the track edges are considered to be part of the track but the kerbs are not.A driver will be judged to have left the track if less than two wheels remain in contact with the track.Leaving the track and gaining an advantage will be deemed ‘cutting’ and may be punished.Consistently cutting a corner, or going outside track limits to gain an advantage during the race - ANY PENALTY (DEPENDENT ON SEVERITY) from WARNING to DISQUALIFICATION
