I mean, they can pick already, but teams will be assigned according to the list in the end, so... Let's say I'd take 1992 Williams despite it's not my turn, but two guys above me on the list said they want Williams after I "picked" it already. They will be getting Williams, not me, chill out dude

It is a bit confusing, but not big deal for me. You can get used to that after a moment

It's not confusing at all.
It's just how we've always done and it has always worked.
It's also just to speed up the process..

Before, we used to wait until each person (in the order) would post their pics, but sometimes the next person to pick only checked the forum days later, so the whole league was 'stuck' waiting for that guy's post...

Then we started to give the drivers 48 or 24 hours to post their picks - and then we would skip to the next driver on the list (and the skipped guy could post his pick at anytime)..

And then we decided to do it like we do now..
Everybody can post their picks, but the order is still respected - of course.
The thing is..

The more 'down' on the list you are, the more picks you should make - simply because all guys above you have a bigger chance to get the car(s) you want.

So, if you're down the list, ALWAYS post multiple choices in order of your personal preference - for example:

"1 - Mercedes
2 - Ferrari
3 - McLaren
4 - Marussia
etc.."

If you're - let's say.. - the 7th guy to pick, there are 6 other guys in front of you, so let's say each one of those 6 guys pick a different car... Then you should post a list with at least 7 different picks in order of your own preference - and when it's your turn to pick, the first avaliable car on your 'preference list' will be 'automatically' given to you (and we can simply skip to the next guy in line and so on - so the whole picking process ends quicker).
