px, I'm sorry to say, but I think you'll have to replace the soundtrack on YT - you can do that without the need of re-uploading the video. It has a section to 'swap audio' or something like that... I just hope you can find a good soundtrack among the ones YT offers...
And IF not... THEN you'll have to re-edit it, replace the soundtrack and then re-upload it again...

like adrian said the inspiration to do these vids is picking a song then building the video around it with other sound/video effects, so to blow that away with a random free track kills the point.

I COMPLETELY understand you, mate!!! The SAME happens to my silly videos of me practicing on the tracks and so far I was lucky for not picking any copyrighted song...

Still I think we should try to stay on YT and for the future videos, just try to be a little more careful about whatever soundtrack you put there - it´s NOT your fault, obviously, but just have a ´plan B´ or something just in case YT fucks up your video.

problem is i dont know how to add youtube music and keep the original audio, gotta have the engine sounds.

You're right and THAT'S actually not possible...
So... you would have to re-edit the video and actually replace the soundtrack, mate... Sorry...

im wondering if the video is blocked because the account was made in Germany, maybe they have strict laws there compared to UK.

I might do the australian one this weekend if i can. i decided not to merge the races and try and do one for each race but its a lot of work for 1 person, ill see how it goes.

I know it's not a simple and easy thing to do and it's also time consuming...

Thx Jean, since ive had 2 requests for Australia i will deffo do one but I need to find a way of getting youtube to show them without removing the audio, the timing of the music and video is essential really to get the best effect.

You will have to be lucky to see if the song you choose would be blocked by YT or not...
Here's a suggestion:
Record/edit a video with a blank screen and ONLY with the AUDIO you want to use on your next race edit. And then upload this video (with only a blank screen + audio file) to YT and see if´t gonna work fine!
If so, then you can use that song on your race edit. If not, you would have to pick another song.


And you're probably right about the fact that the channel was created in Germany, so... maybe you should create a new YT channel to the league there in England, just for the sake of it.

I can guarantee the music id use would be copyright. I will try opening a new account myself here and see how it goes, if that doesnt work i will need to use dailymotion, ive had enough of youtubes bullshit and im tempted to close my own account with them cos they are making money from my videos.
