09 - Great Britain GP (17.02.13)

Well, I also liked the original version BUT their main goal was to make something closer to most circuits today, a little more modern and safer (theorically) where they could attrackt more people to the events, have more spectators on the stands and etc, right?
So, in THIS way, they actually did a good job.
The problem IMO was that the new track layout kinda sucks - especially compared to the old one - and they could've certainly done a better job.
But if we stop and think, a LOT of tracks suffered 'radical' changes in the past as well...
Some examples: Silverstone (the very first verion in the 40's), Interlagos, Kayalami, A1 Ring, Fuji... to name a few...
It's hard to get used to these changes, especially when we get used to the previous versions - especially in 'classic tracks', like Hockenheim...
Anyway... I actually agree with you guys. I just wish they have done a better job with the new track layout itself.

i think one reason was security, because of the length of the track - it was hard to stop people running onto the track like in 2000

These drivers have to start from the back of the grid on sunday: Luft_Inspektor, Alex Hill and Lau

(Luft_Inspektor and Lau accomplish their penalties which where set for the Austrian GP but could not be appealed due to our rules because the penalties where announced too late)

Why should kick behind the grille? If you've already got 6 points for penalties in France.

I will try to drive too. I have to wake up three hours after the race finishes, and I will probably crash a billion times because I got four hours sleep last night.
