Japan GP - Suzuka (Sunday, april 7th, 2013) – Race Report, by Sexy Brigadeiro & pictures by Arek
For ALL the pointers and Championship standings, just take a look below!!!
Well, again Mr. Lazy Juvenil (ya'll know who) sent me the pics yesterday (on friday, april 12th of 2013 - at night), so... sorry for the delay again... Anyway... Let's check some of the Japan GP highlights:
► With only 4 races to go, the fight for the Championship is pretty hard between Denis, soutie and Joe, but... Denis was out of the race in T1!!! That opened the way for soutie and Joe and then...
► soutie won the race and Joe finished in 2nd place and now soutie leads the Championship, followed closely by Denis and also Joe - lots of amazing things to happen on the next (and last) 3 races!!!
► Although I was almost 2 secs slower than the fastest guys in here (and started near the back of the grid, in 16th place), I was able to score some points and finished in 6th place - which to me was pretty nice - take a look:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9vH_zLVTOI&hd=1
► Arek is a Garotinho Juvenil and got his noobish ass kicked by me again... (yes, I wrote this same sentence in the last races... WHY SO SLOW?!?!?! )
► We did NOT have penalties again - ALL the 18 drivers had a pretty clean race (except for self mistakes here and there - and for a few warnings for chatting in quali...) - VERY well done again, peeps!!! Let's keep it up again and again!!!
► That's it for today. Pliss don't cry, kids! BB!'Checkered flag is out and so am I!'
Arek's Slideshow: (Don't be a juvenil! Watch it in HD (720p) and full screen, pliss!)
JAPAN GP FULL RESULTSSuzuka Pics:
PRE-RACE
Arek: Welcome to Suzuka
Sexy: ARIGATO! (but it looks like it's gonna rain... )
PRE-RACE
Arek: I have to say that the graphics of that track are pretty shitty although you can't see it being "in" at all It seems to be a very nice track then
Sexy:
PRE-RACE
Arek: A ferris wheel!
Sexy: ...and a roller coaster too! Can I go there, mommy?!?!.. Weeeeee!!..
LAP 1
Arek: Cars are ready for the green light. soutie on PP. Adrian S Shole is 2nd.
Sexy: Nice to see Adrian (our current Champion...) on the first places again!
LAP 1
Arek: Go Go Go!
Sexy: VROOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!!!!... (damn, I'm in last place on this pic!!..)
LAP 1
Arek: Denis and Arek are on a collision course not seing each other...
Sexy: Stevie Wonder would've done a better job - just sayin'...
LAP 1
Arek: It ends up badly for Denis who had to abandon and for some other driver like lau, Michal and Cueball.
Sexy: That was the worst thing that could happen to Denis on this race... Scoring 0 points and giving soutie and Joe a chance to score a lot of points - which was EXACTLY what happened... - Denis worst nightmare coming true... - soutie and Joe are pretty happy though!!..
LAP 1
Arek: soutie keeps the lead!
Sexy: What's new?!..
LAP 1
Arek: Adrian S Shole who got overteken by Tom McKay spins in the esses.
Sexy: Too good to be true to Kangaroo Kid... - BTW, I went offtrack trying to avoid him when he rejoined...
LAP 1
Arek: Arek (4th) makes a mistake and spins in the last chicane.
Sexy: Typical thing that happens to juvenis...
LAP 2
Arek: soutie (1st), Tom McKay and Alex Hill.
Sexy: Yes, that's them.
LAP 2
Arek: Sven makes a mistake being under the pressure from Black and loses his 7th place. In the background Bober and Cueball.
Sexy: 'Sven' & 'mistake' = synonymous
LAP 3
Arek: Second race in a row raikkO says good bye quite early
Sexy: But it was the 4th or 5th time it happens this season... He has serious issues with rFDynHud...
LAP 4
Arek: lau (13th) and Adrian after a bad and unlucky begining try to get the time they lost back.
Sexy: And they actually recovered some places and the time lost pretty well on the following laps! Good job, lads!
LAP 5
Arek: BlackFox (7th) who was chasing his countryman Arnie made a mistake and spun at the last turn of the esses. It's a very tricky one because a few seconds later Bober made exactly the same move Cueball who was right behind him had to save himself by going wide and Arek is happy of getting 3 free places weeee!
Sexy: I got those same 3 places as well!!! Weeee!
LAP 5
Arek: Several cars (Sexy being 8th, lau, Sven and Adrian) catched them and we got a little train.
Sexy: I'm being hunted down - SOMEONE CALL 911!!!
LAP 5
Arek: As it turned out Arek didn't have the last laugh...
Sexy: And I was like... LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!...
LAP 5
Arek: lau overtakes Sexy and takes the 7h place.
Sexy: That was a pretty 'annoyingly good' move by lau...
LAP 6
Arek: Even soutie makes mistakes He keeps the lead anyway although Tom reduced the gap between them.
Sexy: I guess he makes mistakes from time to time to give us a chance... But hey, Sam: it's NOT working!!! You gotta improve a little bit on the mistakes department, mate!!
LAP 6
Arek: Adrian S Shole overtakes Sexy Brigadeiro at 130R!
Sexy: I had no choice but to go wide... 2nd time I go offtrack because of Adrian... - good job!!!
LAP 7
Arek: Arnoldinhu (5th) followed by Joe McLaggen.
Sexy: ARRIBA, MUCHACHO!!!
LAP 8
Arek: Cueball tries to pass Bober (11th) but ineffective.
Sexy: Bober was trying to give Force India some points now that Denis was out..
LAP 8
Arek: lau (7th) makes a mistake in T1 and loses several positions.
Sexy: He is not the only one making mistakes in this pic... (and yes, I'm talking about myself.. I almost spun by stepping on that kerb and I lost some time to Sven with that - damn!!)
LAP 8
Arek: ADI overtakes Alex Hill at 130R and takes the 3rd place! Joe is still 5th.
Sexy: Both ADI and Alex were having a pretty good race!!
LAP 9
Arek: But several corners later ADI makes a mistake spins losing two places. He keeps 5th place right in front of Arnie who does a very solid race so far.
Sexy: Ok, forget what I've just said about ADI...
LAP 9
Arek: Tom (2nd) in the pits. His teammate Arnoldinhu is coming in as well in front of Adrian S Shole.
Sexy: Nice timing for Renault this time!
LAP 10
Arek: Meanwhile Sven pushes on Sexy very strong, but still is unable to make a pass.
Sexy: One of the worst feelings is to have Sven on your mirrors for a lot of laps... I almost let him go just to be 'free' from that, but then I thought... TO HELL WITH IT!!! - and decided to defend the best I could and... I held him behind for several laps!! GOOD JOB, MYSELF!!
LAP 12
Arek: Tom who had already been in the pits catched Sexy and Sven. Svenja finally make a pass. Moment later Tom does the same on both of them but Sexy takes the adventage of Sven's mistake and passes him back
Sexy: Tom is sneaky! He tried to enter a party he was not invited to..
LAP 12
Arek: Arnie had a great race till he made a mistake at the same place as BlackFox and Bober. But with the difference that he got kind of lost and tried to use that side alley as a track he lost a lots of time...
Sexy: Someone give him a map, pliss?!..
LAP 13
Arek: Joe McLaggen (3rd) and ADI coming to the pits. Sexy and Sven pits on the same lap too.
Sexy: Actually I just needed to take a shit, but... pliss, don't tell anyone, ok?
LAP 14
Arek: ADI comes out right in front of Adrian S Shole. Comes to the contact and ADI spins losing his chance to fight with Joe. Bober in the first plan.
Sexy: That's a shame for ADI... but great for Joe!
LAP 15
Arek: soutie (1st) leaves the pits and starts his 15th lap. Tom McKay who has two pit stops strategy passes him at that moment...
Sexy: So... soutie was keeping that amazing pace on Hards?.. Geezuz..
LAP 16
Arek: Sexy (8th), Black and Sven.
Sexy: Both of them were a little faster than me and again I had to defend my place as if my life depended on that... lucky me I have some powerful friends and they sent a miracle my way to help me a few laps later! (you guys messed with the wrong Sexy Brigadeiro - just sayin'..)
LAP 18
Arek: Tom goes to the pits for the second time. soutie takes the lead. Adrian S Shole pits on that lap too.
Sexy: And now the positions are beginning to take their final places (after everyone's pit stops)...
LAP 19
Arek: Meanwhile ADI has to defend himself from lau.
Sexy: Oh, these romanian guys.. always fighting!!.. STOP IT, KIDS!! Bad, bad, boys!!.. Tsk, tsk, tsk!!..
LAP 19
Arek: Adrian makes a good use of his fresh tyres and overtakes Sven at the last chicane.
Sexy: Good job, ass hole!!.. I mean.. Oh.. whatever..
LAP 20
Arek: Tom catched the two Jaguars fighting with each other and is not happy about that fact...
Sexy: I'd be happy myself..
LAP 21
Arek: This time the "tricky corner" proved to be tricky for Adrian
Sexy: Adrian likes to 'balance' his race. To each good thing he does, he goes and do anothe bad one..
LAP 22
Arek: Tom finally overtakes ADI and takes the 4th place. One lap earlier lau went to the pits.
Sexy: Is Tim happy now?!
LAP 23
Arek: Not much is hapening on the track so maybe Sexy tell us something about Michal and his car being parked pretty "weirdy" in the pits for almost whole race
Sexy: Ok, I can say what you didn't have the guts to say: Michal, the next time, can you just pliss press the ESC button? Thank you, mate!
LAP 26
Arek: Alex Hill (3rd). soutie still leads, Joe McLaggen is 2nd.
Sexy: As I said before.. Denis worst nightmares coming true.. But, that was also pretty good in terms of excitment about the fight for the Title!!
LAP 27 - LAST LAP!
Arek: Still not much is happening on the track so maybe Sexy can introduce our new rookie who borrowed a helmet from Luft
Sexy: Arek loves to hear me talking.. Anyway.. Steven (or StephenSweet - lol) seems to be a nice guy! Fair driver, although not so fast yet, but showed some potential as well! Hope to see him again on the next races and season(s) and he will certainly be competitive soon! the only problem is that I didn't see him practicing at Fuji (our next race) so far, so.. where are you, mate?!..
LAP 27 - LAST LAP!
Arek: Oh, shit! It was the last lap! soutie wins the race!
Sexy: Oh, shit! that's true!
LAP 27 - LAST LAP!
Arek: Joe finishes in 2nd!
Sexy: Another GREAT result for EL MUCHACHO SUAVE!!!
LAP 27 - LAST LAP!
Arek: Alex Hill is 3rd!
Sexy: Amazing job by China Boy!!! His first podium in the season, but pretty solid race at his beloved Japan, making all of his japanese friends & fans happy as well!!!
