Season #6 MOD DOWNLOAD (FINAL)

This is the mod for Season 6.

Download and install the THREE links, on the following order:

- Patch 1 fixes random engine failure, pit menu (fuel, timings, options), adds Pirelli test team (reserve driver cars), fixes tyres (more realistic grip)

It is F1 WCP 2013 with some minor changes:

tyres:
wear of med and hard tyres
grip of all compounds

t-cams centred

some sounds copied from F1LRCLUB

physics:
autoshift increased
refuelling allowed

damage:
values copied from FSone2009 (wings fall off how we like, wheels stay on)

custom loading screens

Everything else is the original mod.

- Patch 2 changes the most of the helmets, all of the car numbers and also changes the info in the vehicle selection menu to match.

- Extract the files to a fresh rFactor install if you can and just click 'yes to all' to ovewrite the files when installing the patches.

okay so i guess it works okay for everyone so far

Found an issue already, Tom...

You can't set the fuel strategy on the pits...
You can only set the number of pit stops, but not the ammount of fuel for each stint...

i guess it's not a problem, we don't use refuelling...

we will use refuelling Juan

you can set the amount of fuel when you're driving, in the pit menu

i don't know how to fix it so you can set it on the garage menu/monitor

if you can find out how, then that'll be in the first patch

I'll see if I can do it, but I'm pretty sure it's somewhere in the .HDV file.

IMO, this is REALLY important (vital, actually), because setting the ammount of fuel WHILE driving is REALLY hard, especially for keyboarders...

And jah, Fish, the mod feels great and I also hope it guves us all a better and more balanced competition and fun!

By the times posted seems again a very fast mod, it'll be nice to have a slower, more realistic mod, it's turning into a too synthetic driving  

good point! we are already 1 second faster than ctpd and 1,5 seconds faster than fsone

i really like new mod i feel im faster than CTPD mod i hope i can score more points this year      

just think how fast it would be with DRS and kers    or are some people running that already?

i run without DRS and KERS

just want to ask we wont use drs and kers this season right?

I believe we won't and I think we're better off without them.

I also agree that the mod is too fast, but we didn't know that and most things about the mod, we are finding out right now and the admins can still make a few adjustments here and there if they want/need - keep in mind this is just a 'beta version' and it's on the server right now for us to test it, although some people are already focussed and worried only in setting hotlaps, instead of actually testing all aspects of the mod...


BUT even if the laptimes are not the most realistic ones, I still think the mod is pretty good and it feels great to drive as it is right now, although I admit that if it was a little slower in terms of laptimes, it would be better (but not exactly a 'problem' IMO).
